The best thing about a workplace campaign is that it makes it easy for individuals to give a little at a time from their paycheck. The business agrees to offer payroll deduction to their employees so that their giving makes a big impact! However, that is not the only option given during a workplace campaign, as many people will give a one-time gift through cash, checks, or by signing up for EFTs.
Even though offering payroll deduction is huge, the most effective thing about a campaign is the education that happens for people throughout Williams County. We have a few options for presentations:
1. We come in to your company for a special presentation (or a presentation added to another meeting you already have going on).
2. We are willing to come in at different times to speak to different shifts. We do whatever we can to get in front of people!
3. We can give you an online presentation that can be emailed to all employees.
4. We can set up an area with information where employees can grab information or even speak to us if you wanted us to come in.
We have many part-time or retired individuals who see the impact of the United Way and want to give to the organization simply by hearing about what we do.
