United Way Involvement
This committee is charged with developing a marketing plan for the organization, for both campaign and non-campaign times, helping to execute the strategic plan, and organizing all special events. This committee must help raise year-round awareness of the United Way. This committee meets monthly or as necessary.
This committee is chaired by the Treasurer and is responsible for reviewing the financial statements of the organization, preparing and recommending the annual budget to the Board, reviewing bank statements, and reviewing expenses to ensure that they are in line with budget. This committee meets quarterly to monthly as necessary. The only member who is required to be part of the UWWC Board is the chair person.
This committee is responsible for increasing financial and volunteer resources by mobilizing the caring power of the community. This committee contacts existing and prospective corporate accounts and thanks them for prior support, assist staff with identification and recruitment of Account Managers where needed, and ensure timely solicitation of all accounts. This committee meets monthly or as needed from July-March.
This committee is responsible for recommending policy changes, nominations of new members for the Board of Trustees, developing an annual operating plan, including goals for each committee, and establishing a campaign cabinet for the annual appeal. This committee meets as necessary to conduct its business.
